The mzz framework was initially created to load modules from templates. During the course of past 2 years the framework has been greatly improved by our team. We've implemented the newest stable data handling algorithms into mzz, enhacing its flexibility and possible application scenarios. A great deal of attention was paid to security, optimization and to the quality of the code through Test Driven Development.
Latest Technology
We've chosen the latest and most available web technologies for the framework such as php5, pdo_mysql, mysql 5.x, 4.x. Mzz is an open source project, licensed under LGPL. Download the latest stable release (0.2.1) here.
A number of sample modules are included with the distribution:
- News
- Pages
- Dynamic Catalog
- File Manager
- Gallery
- Navigation Menu
- Messaging Module
- Voting / Poll Module
- F.A.Q Module
- Forum
These modules were made for the demonstration purposes and are meant to showcase the framework. However they're fully functional and could be used in your project.
Flexibility & Expandability
The sphere of mzz implementation is not limited to content management. Due to its flexibility and well thought out structure mzz could be used to develop a variety of web projects - from corporate portals and intranets to online stores and proprietary billing & statistics applications. Most of new and emerging web technologies can be integrated with our framework.
Our goal is to develop a widely used web framework that supports quality RAD.
